Our Organization is providing micro-credit to several Self Help Groups with the financial help of Rashtriya Mahila Kosh, Govt. of India in the area. The most of the beneficiary were women who are now determined to complete the project as per their own scheme.  Micro credit plays an important role in fighting the multi-dimensional aspects and increases livelihood of children. We have also explained the SHGs that it is also a means for self-empowerment. It enables the poor, especially women so that they increase income and become business owners and reduce their vulnerability to external shocks, illness etc. for doing this we had organized training programmes and ensured that all SHGs’ members know the importance of micro-credit.

It is our most initiative matter that we have furnished 2 (two) training programmes on Jute Diversified Product and Jute Footwear at Tapan and Kumarganj Block respectively. District Industries Centre, Dakshin Dinajpur district has entrusted those assigned duty to our respective NGO in this financial year under BRGF Fund. Through the mentioned programmes 40 beneficiaries have been weltrained and they are going to be self employed and they are capable to maintain their family easily with the help of their proper income in this regard. Thus the mission aims at promoting the artisans purchasing trade of available natural fibers by providing forward and backward linkages in terms of improve tools raw materials and market support.  Having observed the training programmes with their activities our other SHGs become very eager to have those programmes to earn their livelihood and to upgrade their economical status. In that connection District Industries Centre, Dakshin Dinajpur district is highly appreciated to assist the poorest SHGs with various training programmes in future that we must have better chance to abolish poverty from the Society.

Dakshin Dinajpur district is one of the smallest and most backward districts in West Bengal having 1500000 population.  The male literacy rate of the district is 73.34% where as the female literacy rate is 55.12%.  In this circumstance, besides several welfare activities, we establish a residential minority girls’ school, Adarsha Balika Shikha Niketan, at kamaldin, P.O-Aminpur, Kushmandi, Dakshin Dinajpur with the help of local people.
